Poly Aluminum Chloride (PAC) is a highly efficient water treatment chemical that functions as a coagulant to extract and clump together contaminants, colloidal and suspended matter. This results in the formation of floc (flocculation), which is removed via filters. PAC's coagulation action illustrates this process.

In a nutshell, the efficiency of water treatment with Poly Aluminium Chloride products is primarily determined by their level of basification. This parameter represents the concentration of hydroxyl groups relative to aluminium ions. The higher the basification, the lower the aluminium content, leading to better contaminant removal performance. Additionally, a lower aluminium content also benefits the reduction of aluminium residuals in the processing pipeline.
