PolyDADMAC Introduction:
PolyDiallyl Dimethyl Ammonium Chloride, commonly known as PolyDADMAC, is a water-soluble cationic polymer used extensively in water treatment processes. It's derived from the quaternization of diallylamine and possesses strong flocculation properties due to its high molecular weight and positively charged groups. This organic coagulant effectively neutralizes negatively charged particles and colloids in water by charge neutralization and bridging mechanisms, leading to rapid sedimentation and improved clarification. Widely applied for drinking water purification, wastewater treatment, and industrial processes, PolyDADMAC performs optimally within a broad pH range and is highly efficient at low dosages.
PolyDADMAC in Effluent treatment
PolyDADMAC is used in waste water treatment as a primary organic coagulant which neutralizes negatively charged colloidal material and reduces sludge volume compared with inorganic coagulants.
