Poly Aluminium Chloride is an extremely effective chemical for water treatment, functioning as a coagulant to extract and aggregate contaminants, colloidal particles, and suspended matter. This leads to the creation of floc (flocculation) which can then be easily removed through filtration. The demonstration of PAC's coagulation showcases this entire process in action.

Poly Aluminium Chloride products used in water treatment are usually defined by their degree of basification (%). Basification refers to the concentration of hydroxyl groups compared to aluminium ions. The greater the basification, the lower the aluminium content and thus the better the performance in removing contaminants. This decreased level of aluminium also improves the process by significantly reducing aluminium residuals.
